En la parroquia de Atahualpa se ejecutan obras correspondientes a los presupuestos participativos a cargo del Municipio de Quito. Las obras empezaron a inicios del mes de octubre del 2020.

Los presupuestos participativos son un ejercicio democrático participativo en los cuales la ciudadanía analiza, discute y decide acerca de las obras de infraestructura que se priorizan para el bien común de una comunidad. Mediante el Gobierno Parroquial se realizó las gestiones para articular que los presupuestos participativos sean asignados a la parroquia de Atahualpa Habaspamba.
¿Qué se está construyendo en Atahualpa?
A escasos metros del parque central de la parroquia, en el barrio El Progreso, se encuentra el centro recreativo en el cual, se está ejecutando tres frentes. El primero comprende la colocación de una cubierta en la piscina de dicho centro, que de apoco se levanta entre columnas de hierro y concreto.
«Es bastante interesante, vamos a tener energía solar con aproximadamente 46 paneles solares que van a calentar la piscina» declaró la Ing. Inés María Aguirre encargada de las obras. La ejecución de la cubierta tendrá un costo de $177.394, 20. También se considera la implementación de un sauna, turco e hidromasaje.
El segundo frente que se ejecutará, es el Coliseo de la Parroquia. Mismo que será intervenido para la implementación de un sistema acústico, aireación (ventilación) y se colocará una cortina en el escenario del coliseo. La inversión para este espacio es de $47.226,28.
«Se va a colocar cielo raso en todo el coliseo en la parte de arriba y se colocará paredes de gypsum con aislamiento acústico» manifestó la Arq. Lorena Tabango.
Finalmente la tercera y última intervención, corresponde a la construcción de una cancha sintética junto al estadio de la parroquia, el mismo que contará con cerramiento y un sistema de filtrado de agua.
¿Cuál es el valor de las obras?
Los tres proyectos tienen un valor aproximado de $224.000,00 dólares americanos que forman parte de los presupuestos participativos 2020 que otorga el Municipio de Quito.
Las mencionadas obras tienen un plazo de ejecución y entrega a la ciudadanía de 60 días. Por lo tanto se espera que para inicios del mes de diciembre del 2020 la parroquia de Atahualpa Habaspamba cuente con un renovado centro recreativo para el disfrute de todos los atahualpenses y turistas. «Tenemos planificado trabajar durante 60 días y Dios mediante vamos a terminar los primeros días de Diciembre» dijo la Ing. Inés María Aguirre.
Medidas de bioseguridad
Ante la pandemia del COVID19 a nivel mundial se ha tomado medidas de prevención para evitar y disminuir contagios. Por lo tanto en las obras que se ejecutan en Atahualpa se ha tomado las debidas medidas de prevención.
«Estamos manteniendo los estrictos controles de bioseguridad, no solo por el bienestar de la población, sino también por los trabajadores. Nosotros tomamos la temperatura tanto al ingreso como a la salida de la obra, de igual forma al iniciar las labores desinfectamos todas las instalaciones» manifestó la Ingeniera Ambiental y Técnica de Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional Jhoanna Soria.
